Heirloom Renovation

A thoughtful renovation of a family heirloom. Opening up the existing kitchen to the dining room and transforming the room adjacet to the kitchen into the new dining room, this historic home meets the needs of a modern family. The new location for the dining room opens directly to the outdoor living while the transormation of the old dining room space allows for entertaining or a quiet nook for breakfast. This semi-open conecpt offers the best of open living while maintining inentional deliniation of space. In collaboration with Courtney Farrell, an earth tone palette plays with patterns to create a feeling of warmth, a sense of home.
